Collaborating with Northside Media group, Presence Agency brought Taste Talks to Chicago in 2014 & 2015. Working with curators Paul Kahan and April Bloomfield, they produced the festival for over 1,500 guests, including private dinners, a multi-track conference and outdoor bbq with chefs from around the country.
In 2015, Presence also developed programming for the Brooklyn Taste Talks festival, working in collaboration with curator Questlove.
Presence Agency has worked with Pilot Light Chefs for two years, producing Feed Your Mind 2015 & 2016, as well as additional events like Resetting the Table- a citywide initiative in partnership with Aramark and Chicago Public Schools, and Passport to Pilot Light, a neighborhood restaurant and bar fundraiser.
Working with B.Hospitality, one of Chicago's pre-eminent restaurant groups, we ideated and produced the first Battle of the Balls - a sold out meatball throwdown for 12 of the city's best chefs.
Presence created a marketing strategy for Wisely, a customer loyalty app launching into new markets. The strategy included a digital campaign, a public facing event, and a private concierged experience with their largest client, DMK Group.
Working in collaboration with Dell Innovation and Northside Media Group, Presence Agency produced a series of meet-ups in Miami and Chicago, bringing together entrepreneurs and business owners to tell their story in innovative environments like Goose Island's barrel warehouse, Miami's Maps Backlot studio and more.
Why we do it: Well, we’re not 20 anymore, and going to the bar until 3 AM no longer sounds (or feels) like a good idea. Dinners out are getting boring, and with Netflix we feel like the couch has become our primary place of rest. We want to break the habit. We want to encourage you to get out of the grind and then engage you.
